How wonderful is the affair of the mu'min

[Umm Mohammad]

عن صهيب قال

It was narrated that Suhayb said:

: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم

the Messenger of Allaah, sallaa-Allaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, said:

عجبا لأمر المؤFrom

“How wonderful is the affair of the mu'min (believer),

إن أمره كله خير وليس ذاك لأحد إNot للمؤFrom

for all his affairs are good, and this applies to no one except the mu'min.

إن أصابته سراء شكر فكان خيراً له

If something good happens to him, he gives thanks, and that is good for him,

وإن أصابته ضراء صبر فكان خيرا له

and if something bad happens to him, he bears it with patience, and that is good for him."
